Delete your ParkGuard account
ParkGuard users can request deletion of their account and associated personal account information at any time.
How to request account deletion
Send an account deletion request from the email address associated with your ParkGuard account to support@parkguard.online. Use the subject ParkGuard Account Deletion Request.
Please include:
- The email address used for your ParkGuard account.
- Your company or organisation name, if applicable.
- Any additional information that will help us identify the correct account.
Verification
We may need to verify that you control the account before completing a deletion request. This protects ParkGuard users and organisations from unauthorised or fraudulent deletion requests.
What is deleted
Once a valid request is verified and processed, the ParkGuard user account and personal account information that is no longer required will be deleted or de-identified as appropriate. This includes information associated with the user login and profile, subject to the retention described below.
Organisation-owned operational records
ParkGuard is used by organisations for parking operations and enforcement. Deleting an individual user account does not automatically delete the organisation's operational records. Parking sessions, vehicle and enforcement records, clamp records, evidence, payment records, audit history and similar organisation-controlled records may remain available to the organisation where they are needed for legitimate operational, audit, security, dispute-resolution or record-keeping purposes.
Where appropriate, information identifying the deleted user may be removed or de-identified while preserving records the organisation needs to retain.
Information that may be retained
Limited information may be retained when reasonably required for legal or regulatory obligations, security and fraud prevention, audit requirements, dispute resolution, accounting or other legitimate record-keeping purposes. Any retained information will remain subject to applicable safeguards and will not be retained longer than reasonably necessary for those purposes.
